AVX, AVX2/FMA, AVX512, SVE, etc. SIMD benchmarks do not run!

Operating System support is required to save/restore extended SIMD state - and thus use these SIMD instruction sets AVX, AVX2/FMA, AVX512*, etc.

• For AVX512 (and later) you need Windows 10/Server 2016 x64 or later.
• For AVX, AVX2/FMA3 you need Windows 7 SP1/Server 2008/R2 SP1 x86/x64 or later.
• For SVE/SVE2 you need Windows 11/Server 2022 Arm64 or later.

Note that for compatibility reasons many VM (Virtual Machine) software like Hyper-V, VMWare, etc. disable advanced instruction sets even if the host processor supports them. This is mainly to allow easy migration across different host systems that may not support the same extensions.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Sandra for best support for both hardware and software. Use the Update Wizard to check if in doubt.
